Wall Openings in Revit
February 2025
❝ Not a MEP expert here, but I thought it was boring to create openings in Revit walls and floors for pipes, beams and conduits. ❞
👨💻 So, I made a small Revit button that detects intersections and creates openings in walls and floors based on them.
My (biased) take; it is cool that it can create openings of standard sizes, add a gap to holes or group several elements in one large opening.
Revit tip at the end.

PS: This small tool is for pro members in nonicatab.
💻 Revit tip: used a generic model face based family to create the holes and be able to schedule them. Family included with the button.
