I watched Claude use Revit

❝ Never got into it, but I saw how long it takes to create wall tilings for bathrooms and kitchens in a Revit project. ❞
👨💻 So, I tried to improve a small Revit button to select rooms and create wall finishes by their boundaries.
In my (biased) opinion, it is cool that I can set the height of the finishes or skirtings in two different ways, by parameter or by fixed value.
I know. 2025 and Revit still doesn´t do this by default.
I used it and it created tilings and skirtings for a few rooms in seconds.

PS: This small tool is in Nonicatab free.
PSS: Kudos to BIM42 for the original version.
💻 Coding tip: used room.getboundarysegments(options) to work with the edges of the rooms and create the finishes ( walls ). You can review the code using control and pressing this button.
